As fiber lasers have good beam quality, the beam light can be focused enough to reach super-power density similar to that in electron beam welding. This report showed that the power density produced what kind of influence on the welding results when bead-on-welding was exploited for stainless steel by using a 10 kW fiber laser beam. Moreover the latest data in high-speed observation results of the fiber laser welding phenomena was reported flowing the previous reports.
