Abstract
In the study, the effect of Laser peenenig process on the fatigue strength, Vickers hardness, and residual stress of aluminum alloy MIG welded joint. The following results were confirmed: (1)fatigue strength of aluminum alloy welded joint were improved by laser peening; (2)surface hardness of aluminum alloy welded joint were improved as high as that of the base metal; (3)compressive residual stress were developed at the weld toe of aluminum alloy welded joint.
