Development of resistance butt mash seam welding for tailored blanks

Abstract

We devised a conventional method and different mash seam welding. We clarified a welding condition and relations with a bondability. In addition, we investigated performance such as corrosion resistance after a formability and the painting to clarify applicability to a tailored blank and compared it with other welding methods.
