Abstract
A hybrid structure with Al alloy and steel is attracted attention to achieve a light weight and the high strength for transportation vehicle. In this study, spot welding between Al-Mg alloy and a variety of coated steel were performed by friction stirring, and the strength and the microstructure of weld joints were investigated.
