Abstract
The voltage behavior depends on the keyhole situation. But, the relationship between the stability of the bead and keyhole is unclear. It is difficult to estimate the back bead by using the voltage and the current. The authors tried to observe the weld pool on top side to estimate that on the bottom side. For this purpose, the authors applied the pulsed current to the plasma welding to observe the weld pool.
