Abstract

In the large-scale structure, the improvement of the gap accuracy in the laser-butt-welding obstructs a decrease in the cost of manufacturing. Then, we have been developed the new method for maximum gap 2mm in 4mm thickness weld steel sheets, using the 6kW fiber laser welding system with the filler wire.
