Abstract
Welding procedure for hull structure is to be approved following the Rules of the societies. However, technical basis of FSW was not developed in Japan. Then, we formulated FSW guideline to show requirements for conducting approval test and preparing WPS, considering technical requirement of FSW based on the Rule.
