Residual Stress Measurement on GTA Weld of A5083 Aluminum Alloy by X-ray diffraction

Abstract

We measured residual stress on weld of Aluminum alloy by X ray diffraction, and compered with results of thermo elastic plastic analysis and stress relaxation. These results showed good agreement, and we examined the applicability of X ray diffraction residual stress measurement.
