Abstract
The hot cracks occurred in extra high-purity 25Cr-35Ni stainless steel was mainly characterised as ductility-dip crack. The amount of P+1.2S in steels should be limited to 45ppm in order to obtain the extremely low ductility-dip cracking susceptibility in 25Cr-35Ni stainless steels.
