Abstract
The laser brazing of sialon to WC-Co alloy was carried out using Ag-Cu-Ti braze metal. The effect of contents of Ti as an activator was investigated. The shear strength of the joint increased with increasing Ti contents in the braze metal up to 1.7mass%Ti.
