Abstract
The object of this study is clarified to the mechanism of scouring in sandy ground due to the tractive force and seepage force. Especially, in this paper, are discussed to seepage flow and generating of excess pore water pressure induced by high-speed flow using the movable bed experiment. As a result, surface flow seeped into ground and excess pore water pressure was generated. Moreover the direction of seepage have effect on the value of excess pore water pressure and the penetration area increases with the size of ripples in the swept flow state.
