Abstract
An electrode measurement of dissolved oxygen was made for the sea water collected during the KH-91-5 Cruise of the R/V Hakuho Maru along 165°E. A comparison with Winkler method for 297 samples shows that a standard deviation of difference is 0.054 ml/l. A standard deviation of the electrode measurements for 13 subsamples from a single bottle is 0.021 ml/l, which is nearly equal to that reported for Winkler method.
