The Study of Transition Flow of Rarefied Gas

Abstract

Up to this time, the equation of flow of gases in the transition regime has been developed in the form of the sum of laminar and molecular flow rate. These equations however do not express the behavior of transition flow, so we derived an equation which was distinctly distinguished from the behavior of laminar and molecular flow, and studied the factor experimentally that is used in this paper. In conclusion, our equation is regarded as a suitable expresion of the behavior of flow and is appropriate in the entire transition regime from laminar to molecular flow.
