The determination of circulating eosinophils, urinary 17-hydroxycorticosteroids, and uropepsinogen combined with ACTH administration revealed useful to study the effect of moxication on the adrenal cortex in man provided the ACTH-test (a modified Thorn-test) is performed twice, before and after the moxication.
