Experimental Research on Stiffened Panels Loaded beyond the Elastic Limit (1)

Abstract

In order to study the behaviour of stiffened panels beyond the elastic limit, widely used in ship structure as shell platings and bulkhead platings, we projected some experiments in the following. Considering interaction between stiffeners and plate, systematic pressure tests were done by series changing stiffener's size and space of small models having the loaded area of 470mm×940mm.
