New Buoyancy Material for Deep Submersibles : 3rd Report

Abstract

This report presents an experimental investigation on the production of larger scale syntactic foam for 6,000m submersible use. The Experiments were carried out to confirm the processes to produce large scale syntactic foam and to ascertain its properties for deep sea applications. At this experiments, it is shown that the syntactic foam of large scale suitable for 6,000m-deep application can be obtained.
