Hydrodynamic Analysis on Sailing (2nd Report) : Performance Predection of International Flying Fifteen Class Yacht

Abstract

In the first report published in 1978, a procedure to predict sailing characteristics was proposed. In this paper, the procedure was applied on an International Flying Fifteen class keel racer. The full-scale trial result was compared with the performance prediction.
