Abstract

This paper is foundamental study about motion and mooring force of floating ocean structure moored by dolphin system in regular waves. Such a dolphin system has rubber fender whose stress-strain property is non-linear, that is hysteresis property. We introduced to calculation of motion and reaction force of fender such non-linerity and effect of absorbed energy by fender, and compared with results of experiments by model test. The results were that, the calculation of frequency response value used by reaction force approximated by polynomial function without effect of absorbed energy is enough effective in regard to design of mooring system. And we can simulated more correctly by calculation of time history, used by impulse response method.
