Abstract
A 57-year-old woman had received interferon therapy because of chronic hepatitis C and had received transcathetel arterial embolization (TAE) because of hepatocellular carcinoma HCC (S6). She was referred to our hospital because of a symptom of hematuria with recurrence of HCC (S3) and with aggravating renal dysfunction. We diagnosed rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis (RPGN). After we performed laparoscopic partial resection of the liver for HCC (S3), the degree of hematuria was reduced and serum levels of BUN and creatinine were also improved to the normal range gradually. There are some reports about ANCA-associated vasculitis concomitant with malignant tumor, but our case was considered ANCA-negative nephritis concomitant with HCC.
