Abstract
A 72-year-old man were admitted to near hospital with fever of unknown origin. 4 days after admission, he has chest pain and shock vital, suddenly. CT showed intrahepatic hematoma. He was admitted to our hospital. Emergency abdominal angiography performed, the return phase of superior mesenteric arteriography showed normal findings of portal vein, but celiac arteriography shows multiple intrahepatic aneurysms. We performed transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE) for intrahepatic aneurysm of segment 6. We diagnosed intra-hepatic aneurysm rupture. He had fever of unknown origin. The origin of infection was not became clear after all. We diagnosed spontaneous multiple intra-hepatic aneurysm rupture. He underwent treatment of antibiotics, multiple intrahepatic aneurysms and intrahepatic hematoma fever were improved. We suggest TAE is effective for intrahepatic aneurysm raputure.
