Abstract
Cholangiocarcinoma developed in offset printing companies have characteristic features in the point of such as onset age and tumor localization. In this study, cholangiocarcinoma cases with occupational history were extracted from the Rosai Hospital Group illness and carrier database, and the clinical feature was compared between young and senile or with and without exposure to organic solvents. 115 young-onset and 2140 senile cases were extracted. The proportion of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma was significantly higher in young-onset cases than senile cases. Percentage of those with elevated ALP was significantly low in young-onset cases. In young-onset cases exposed to organic solvents, ALP was more elevated. The exposure to organic solvents did not alter the tumor distribution. As for cholangiocarcinoma from the Rosai Hospital database, the proportion of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma was significantly higher in young-onset cases than senile cases. The tumor localization was not different between those having exposure to organic solvents or not.
