Abstract
A 53-year-old female was admitted because of epigastric mass. Laboratory data were within normal limits except ChE and CA19-9 (101U/ml). Abdominal ultrasonic tomography and CT showed a multifollicular cyst measuring 15cm in diameter in the left lobe of the liver and the cyst has a papillary portion. Celiac arteriography disclosed an irregular vascularity in the segment 4 of the liver. AFP, CEA and CA19-9 levels of the cyst fluid were high. The tumor was diagnosed liver cystadenocarcinoma and operated. Histopathologically, cystadenocarcinoma was confirmed, and immunological tissue staining proved that AFP as well as CEA and CA19-9 was positive in the tumor cells.
