Abstract
Effects of distance from infection source on development of fruit symptom of ring rot of Japanese pear were investigated in field experiments. The fruit symptoms were not developed when the distance from the diseased branch were > 1 m and > 3 m in a routine chemical control plants and the controlled plants, respectively.
