Suppression of the occurrence of Thrips tabaci (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) on cabbage plants in the field by the application of a water solution of dinotefuran to the seedlings in the cell-trays at the transplanting time

Abstract

When a water solution of the insecticide dinotefuran was applied to cabbage seedlings in the cell-trays just before transplanting them, the occurrence of Thrips tabaci on cabbage plants in the field was suppressed effectively for at least two weeks.
