A Study of the Precip itation Test in Tuberculosis with Normal Lung Tissue Extract. (V. Report) with special reference to its absorption test.

Abstract

After a number of preliminary exper i m ents and by using the method of absorption of antigen and antibody in complement fixation test, it was considered by th e author, that the precipitation test in tuberculosis with the author's antigen, which is m ade of acetone insoluble fraction of alcoholic normal Ox Lung Tissue Extract and containin g one percent balsam of tolu, belongs to a specific reaction between the antigen and antibody of lipoidal nature, and has also an organ specificity.
