Abstract
The number of cases utilizing a metaverse in the infrastructure field is increasing. In this case study, a road metaverse was constructed to visually explain the effects of multi-level improvements in an easy-tounderstand manner at the opening ceremony of a road project.
The road metaverse is a four-dimensional metaverse that includes not only the topography and structures to be constructed in the future, but also the movements of vehicles and people, which are visually important elements in a road project. Using the road metaverse, we edited videos and images taken in the road metaverse, added AI narration, and created a video explaining the project. In addition, a 360-degree video was shot in the constructed road metaverse and can be viewed in the HMD.
