Abstract
In reinforcement work, where the supply chain is diverse, it is effective to use BIM to share and link information between the parties and processes involved. This study developed a prototype tool to realise data linkage between BIM and rebar processing machines. The development of the desired prototype was achieved through data mapping between the standard formats IFC and BVBS. On the other hand, the definition of MVD in IFC and the linkage between BVBS and the various information handled by each supplier for future implementation.
