Abstract

i-Construction, which began in April 2016, has been progressing with the goal of improving productivity at construction sites by 20% by fiscal year 2025. Now, nine years after its launch, "i-Construction 2.0: Automation ofConstruction Sites" was formulated in April 2024 to further acceleratethe initiative.

This report introduces the specific i-Construction 2.0 initiatives being undertaken by the Kanto Regional Development Bureau.
