Application of Eccentric Circular Cutter to Making of Gear Wheel and Others : 1st Report, The Fundamental Research of the Cutter Motion

Abstract

In this report, regarding the eccentric circular cutter which rotates as well as revolves, I theoretically investigated a fundamental equation necessary for the actual working, about which I described in the 2nd and 3rd reports. And the interference due to the periphery of eccentric circular cutter is described. Then, basing upon the fact, I have determined the radius R_c' of the interference limit to be used for the design of this cutter.
