Abstract
The unsteady pressure distribution around a thin airfoil in pitching oscillation is measured precisely and the relation between the behavior of the separation bubble appearing at a high reduced frequency and the aspects of chordwise energy transfer are investigated. The flutter characteristics of a thin airfoil, in the range of mean attack angle where leading edge separation occurs, are made clear.
