Abstract

This paper proposes the new concept of Life Algorithm. (LA). It is different from Genetic Algorithms (GA) in its model, scope and behavior. But LA holds the same principal of natural selection of Darwinism as GA. LA is fundamentally an extension of genetic algorithm. While the conventional GA approach is based on genes and is homogenous in its essence, LA is something more like a genome and permits more diversity, and a group of genes each of which has its different evaluation function is considered. Thus, more individuality and more interaction between these groups can be realized. This makes it possible to secure more robustness to cope with the widely and quickly changing environments. Therefore, LA has a diversity of relations.
