Synthesis and Properties of Azatropocoronands Having L-Amino Acid Residues

Abstract

We have planned and synthesized novel optically active azatropocoronands having L-amino acid residues and estimated their ability as an asymmetric catalyst. The Michael addition reaction of benzylideneacetophenone and diethylzinc using those reagents and transition metal ions afforded a promising result.
