Abstract
Ionic liquids have attracted attention for application in organic synthesis. We successfully synthesized dendrimer-based trisketon from 4-iodobenzophenone derivative and trimethylsilylacetylene by 3 step integrated reaction (Sonogashira coupling reaction, deprotection and Sonogashira coupling reaction with 1,3,5-triiodobenzene) in an imidazolium-based ionic liquid, [BMIM][Tf2N]. A similar integrated reaction with dihalogenated benzophenone in [BMIM][BF4] or [BMIM][Tf2N] was under investigation.
