Abstract
Triarylborane compounds show quite unique photophysical and electrochemical properties owing to the presence of the vacant p-orbital on the boron atom. In this presentation, we report the excited triplet states of various arylborane compounds in toluene at 77 K. Arylborane compounds showed phosphorescence at 77 K. In particular, trimesitylborane showed the most intense phosphorescence compare to other arylborane compounds. Furethermore, we explored simultaneous phosphorescence and ESR measurements.
