Abstract
We have first observed clusters for solvated cyclopentadienide ions (Cp-(solvent)n)and Na+ ions (Na+(solvent)m) which were isolated from polar solvents (DMSO, DMF, THF etc.)-CH3CN solutions by using a specially designed mass spectrometer and found the clear-cut essential features concerning the solvation structure around Cp- and Na+.
