Control of Crioceris quatuordecimpunctata on Asparagus using Ultraviolet Absorbing Vinyl Film

Abstract

Occurrence of Crioceris qtuatuordecimpanctata on asparagus has been suppressed in ultraviolet absorbing vinyl film greenhouse as compared with an incidence level in a common agricultural vinyl film greenhouse. Suppression of incidence of the beetle resulted in an increased yield of asparagus spears with high quality.
