A male patient in his 80s presented with acute left inguinal and femoral pain and a painful subcutaneous nodule sized approximately 6 cm. Enhanced computed tomography showed a ruptured left deep femoral artery aneurysm. Accordingly, the patient underwent resection of the aneurysm and reconstruction of this artery. His postoperative course was uneventful. In daily clinical practice, deep femoral artery aneurysms are rarely diagnosed in emergency rooms.
