Abstract
A 27-year-old woman underwent endoscopic partial thyroidectomy for a thyroid tumor under consideration of cosmetic effects. The tumor was 2.7cm in size with normal thyroid function. Following informed consent, an endoscopic partial thyroidectomy was successfully performed. The tumor was white-yellowish, 2.7cm in size, and partially included cystic lesions. No malignancy was histopathologically observed, and a diagnosis of adenomatous goiter was obtained. After surgery, there was no scar on the neck and the patient was satisfied with the cosmetic result.
