New or little known Chrysomelidae (Coleoptera) from Nepal, Bhutan and the northern territories of Indian subcontinent

Abstract

Sixteen species of the Chrysomelidae from Nepal, Bhutan, N. India and Pakistan are described as new species, viz. Cryptocephalus eberti, Pseudostonopa flaviventris, Doryxena minor and Paridea quadrimaculata from Nepal, Monolepta tatemizo from Nepal and Bhutan, Arthrotus kalimponganus, Calomicrus nigriceps, Cneorane wittmeri, Japonitata ochracea, Luperus variabilis, Monolepta atosuji, Monolepta gantokensis, Monolepta labiatella, Sastroides nigriceps and Chalaenosoma megalayanum from N. India, and Taumacera pakistanica from Pakistan. Number of taxonomic new treatment are proposed and numberof species are newly recorded from the area or from particular countries.
