Phenolic Plant Oil-Based Functional Polymers

Abstract

Recently, concepts of carbon neutrality and its related cercular economy have been much attention to address global concerns such as chlimate change, plastic issues and lack of resource and energy. Biomass, as a renewable resource, offers seveal advantages in terms of carbon neutrality and their unique chemical structures. This paper focuses on utilization of fenolic compounds obtained from natual resources to develop functional bio-based polymer materials.
