Abstract
A transparent amorphous oxide semiconductor (TAOS) is a novel class material having electron transport properties comparable to the crystalline analog. This article reviews the material design concept for TAOS, characteristics of TAOS-TFTs, and recent advances of TAOS-TFT array in display applications.
