Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity and classical method of Castelnuovo

Abstract

This paper investigates the Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity of generic hyperplane section of projective curve. The classical method of Castelnuovo plays an important role in order to study the extremal examples for the bounds for the Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity.
