Abstract
Spermatogonial and spermatocyte chromosomes of three species of Dynastinae (Chalcosoma moellenkampi, Xylotrapes pauliani pauliani, Trichogomphus simson) were examined with the crozier technique. The former two taxa possessed n=10 and the other one 2n=22, n=11 chromosomes. The sex chromosome constitution in male of Xylotrupes pauliani pauliani and Trichogomphus simson are XYp while that of Chalcosoma moellenkampi is undetermined.
