Four new species of Rhyparus are described from Laos: R. laosensis sp. nov.; R. schoolmeestersi sp. nov.; R. paraloebli sp. nov.; R. semikitanoi sp. nov. The taxon loebli Paulian, which was regarded as a subspecies of R. azumai Nakane, is upgraded to a full species. A brief discussion on the morphology of the epipharynx is made for Rhyparus. A key to the species of Rhyparus from Laos and its surrounding areas is provided.
