Abstract
Nine species of the genus Brahmina from Taiwan are studied. Among them, a new subspecies is described under the name of Brahmina taitungensis densatus subsp. nov. New replacement name, Brahmina chingjinyui nom. nov., is proposed for B. pubiventris H. Kobayashi, 1993, a junior secondary homonym of Phytalus pubiventris Burmeister, 1855. Additionally, a list and a key to the species of this genus from Taiwan is provided.
