Among paranoid ideations, persecutory thought has attracted the most attention because it is seemed to be related to aggressiveness. However, it has not been studied whether other types of paranoid ideations are related to aggressiveness. In this study, four positive paranoid ideations and four negative paranoid ideations were examined. In particular, relationships between eight types of paranoid ideations and aggressiveness were studied. It was examined whether these eight ideations are related to physical and linguistic aggression, which are the behavioral aspects of aggressiveness: short temper, which is an emotional aspect, and suspicion, which is a cognitive aspect. The results revealed that persecutory thought is specially related to physical aggression in females, and some positive paranoid ideations are related to linguistic aggression in males. Moreover, suspicion is related to all negative paranoid ideations in both males and females.
