Abstract

For 6 years since April 1994, a plan was implemented to set up computers at schools for educational use. The number of computers connected to the internet is increasing, but it seems they aren't being used effectively during ordinary lessons. I have offered a suggestion as to why this is the case based on an investigation and report by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, Sports and Technology. My suggestion is also based on the current state of affairs, which is that teachers and students have access to computers (and digital tools) in schools connected to the internet and that these computers are used by teachers and students. I will consider this view when reporting on computer literacy and in all aspects of school administration and classes.
