Toward the Realization of University Libraries of New Configuration

Abstract

　University libraries must realize a huge transformation now. This is caused by changes in library patrons, who must accept the changes of teaching / learning and research methods. However, many university libraries are far from adaptable for this situation. This paper describes the implementation of the Waseda-Keio Libraries Joint Project and the realization of evidence-based learning commons through library renovation at Waseda University Library.
