Abstract
To observe the processes of dissolution of sericin by micro-organism, we do degumming of raw silk (bave) with one of penicillium separated from reeling basin water. We dip raw silk into penicillium culture media at 35°C, in the first place, for 1 day, in the 2 nd place, for 4 days, and in the 3 rd place, for 7 days. We observe these three cases of by replica method. This replica is made by methylmetacrylate-aluminium method.
On the external structure of the bave after 1 day's fermentation-degumming sericin is slighthy dissolved and longitudinal lines can faintly be observed On the external structure of the bave after 4 day's fermentation-degumming sericin is largely dissolved and longitudinal lines can be more clearly observed. On the external structure of the bave after 7 day's fermentation-degumming sericin is almost completely dissolved and longitudinal lines can be more and more clearly observed.
