We investigated the fruit and bud emergence characteristics of interspecific hybrids between Echium wildpretii H.Pearson ex Hook.f. and ×E.pininana Webb & Berth., flowered in April 2007. The fruits were schizocarps which had several mericarps. The percent of bud emergence was different significantly by mother plant and seeding time.
